Oversee supervision of single or multiple projects from preconstruction activities through owner turnover. Supervise field crews, project foreman and sub contractors. Prepare project estimates as needed; attend project meetings as needed. Responsible to assist in marketing of TEAM Construction and locating project opportunities for future work with owners, developers, architects, and tenants
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
- Maintain project schedule while not negatively impacting safety or quality
- Process RFI’s and coordinate responses
- Attend project site meetings and maintain communication with Project Manager
- Coordinate subcontractors and suppliers both for schedule and trade conflicts
- Supervise safety of entire project, including subcontractors’ safety requirements
- Maintain strict quality control, Teams reputation is at stake on every job
- Coordinate inspections from project start through owner occupancy
- Coordinate any discrepancies in contract documents with architects and engineers
- Review and approve all shop drawings and submittals
- Record current as built information on a weekly basis
- Keep daily log up to date recording key factors for every job
- Take job photos to record project for future marketing
- Review and approve timecards for labor assigned to their project
- Be a positive role model for staff and subcontractors in regards to behavior, attire, communication and professionalism
- Ensures that a clean, safe, friendly, family environment is maintained at the corporate office
- Responsible for additional duties as assigned by employee’s supervisor
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS include the following:
- Project foreman experience and previous field construction experience with increasing responsibilities
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Demonstrated ability with time management skills
- High level math skills as well as excellent verbal and written communication skills
- General knowledge of all trades
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS REQUIRED:
- Current American Red Cross CPR
- Safety Training
