TEAM Construction was selected as the General Contractor for the Cowlitz County Technical Services Building in Longview, WA. The project consists of an 18,300 SF concrete tilt up construction with a structural steel roof system and is intended to be used as a meter and transformer shop, high voltage test area, offices and storage for the Cowlitz County Electric Utility District. The project was completed in 10 months, and through a collaborative effort of the design and construction team, was able to reachLEED Silver Certification from the US Green Building Council.   Project highlights included a 5 ton bridge crane, an in-slab hydronic heating system, highly energy efficient HVAC systems, extensive day-lighting through multiple skylights, and 44,000 SF of concrete parking with automated security gates.
